They claim to be literalists. But they are just pick and chooseists. Jesus tells us about carrying on about the speck in our brother’s eye, while ignoring the beam in our own. We are taught that we should pray that God would forgive our offences (trespasses) as we forgive the offences of those who have offended us. They decide for themselves what they will accept out of the Bible, and what they will just simply ignore. Let’s not forget the Bible still says that it is an abomonation to wear cloth of mixed fiber, (So you are an abomination if you wear a cotton/poly blend jacket or slacks. Unless you just want to pick the few ideas you want out of the Bible, and ignore the rest.
