InactiveHey guys! I’m sure you guys know a little bit more about Scott Hahn than I do So I’m wondering…what’s his stance with the Catholic Church? What has he done to be well recognized? What’s his stance with Protestants? Muslims? Mormans? Hope you guys can help out

Inactivewhat i know is, he claims that when he was protestant, he wasnt just protestant, he was a SERIOUS ANTI-CATHOLIC always trying to convince catholics out of the church and he says he does this out of “charity”
maybe what made him famous is the fact that his journey was similar to saint paul’s, always persecuting at first and then suddenly struck by the grace of conversion…
although i dont really know his stance with the non catholics…

He’s now an ardent Catholic apologist."James":34plkyca wrote:What has he done to be well recognized?[/quote:34plkyca]
He has written books, given talks, and is a professor of theology at Franciscan University of Steubenville. As passionately_catholic said he was a staunch anti-Catholic before becoming Catholic. It’s a nice story.I totally recommend you read his book Rome Sweet Home. It’s the best easy to understand explanation of the Catholic Church in 182 pages that I’ve ever read. It’s Hahn’s personal journey to Catholicism.

Inactivei’ve only heard dr. hahn’s apologetics talks and never actually read any of his books but his talks are surely interesting, especially the part where he explains how the book of revelations is actually the mass the way the first century Christians saw it, REALLY COOL!!!
