Ok, so the conclave starts next week to elect a new pope. How quickly do you think one will be elected?April 16, 2005 at 8:39 pm #4161AnonymousInactive
I think that it will take three to four days. It’s just my guess since there are so many good candidates. ” title=”Smile” />April 16, 2005 at 10:13 pm #4162
Yeah, I’m hoping it is within the first few days.
I refuse to speculate on who the next pope will be because i feel that is in God’s hands. I can only pray for the cardinals.April 17, 2005 at 3:44 am #4163AnonymousInactive
I have speculated, but I will be happy with just about anyone. I have a list of who I don’t want to see as pope, but it’s not up to me. I will except who ever the Holy Spirit chooses.April 17, 2005 at 10:50 pm #4165AnonymousInactive
I also think this election will go by quick. Whoever it is, he will be in good hands.

In heard that in the last 100 or so years no conclave has gone passed a week. Anyone else hear this in the news?

No, but it sounds good to me. I truly have no idea how long they take. Initially I thought they take a month or so, but other people have told me they are usually shorter.April 19, 2005 at 4:09 pm #4195AnonymousInactive
