Just some food for thought. Jesus does not = “religion” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IAhDGYlpqY[/quote:2onwzjst]
Hi Subaru,

Mar 12:35 And as [b:2onwzjst]Jesus taught in the temple[/b:2onwzjst], he said, “How can the scribes say that the Christ is the son of David?

Jhn 7:14 About the middle of the feast Jesus went up into the temple and taught.

Jhn 10:23 it was winter, and Jesus was walking in the temple, in the portico of Solomon.

Jesus went to Temple, to commune with those who Worship the Father, He set the example. As Christians, Are we not to imitate Him?

Why is it people think that Jesus created the Church so they can thumb their nose @ it?

There is no one on one/ personal relationship biblically, outside of the Temple or The Church. It is always God and His people.

The purpose of the Sabbath, was to leave man with no excuse but to stop, reflect and take time out to Worship His Creator.

Holy Day of Obligation is no different, We are to set @ least one hour to reflect on Our Lord. I seen many people who leave Mass after forty five minutes/right after communion. Some say to beat the traffic, I’ve heard others complain of homilies being to long, and that Mass oughtn’t be more than 45 minutes?

Scott Hahn calls it ‘The Judas Shuffle” take the bread and run!

All Jesus asks us for is 1 hour,
Mat 26:40 And he came to the disciples and found them sleeping; and he said to Peter, [b:2onwzjst]”So, could you not watch with me one hour?[/b:2onwzjst]

Jesus died and Rose so we could share that Hour with Him.

God bless,
John
