I like to run for exercise. I also do a lot of walking out of necessity. I enjoy playing games with friends too.

Personally I like the options of sleep, imagine myself exercising and eat chewy food, but truthfully I chose pick-up games. I love playing ultimate frisbee and even though I do run on occasion, I would much rather play a game.

I did do weight-training at one time, but that was in high school. I kind of miss doing that, but I just don’t seem to have the motivation anymore.

I like to economize-that is combine my exercise efforts with my diet efforts. I make it a point never to eat more than I can lift!

As of late my real actual exercise comes once a week in the ultimate frisbee on Thursday nights and if it weren’t for that then I would not be exercising at all (except my fingers get a good workout at the keyboard).

It’s kind of weird because everytime when we start playing a game even after I warm up and stretch and all that I still feel kind of sluggish until it really gets going. I think that’s a sign that I need to get out more.

I encourage people to exercise more for a few reasons, but mostly if you eat a lot of sweets and stuff – you may be at high risk for diabetes. I know I never want to deal with that.

I chose pick-up games because that is the most enjoyable.

Right now, I am doing an Army exercise program called Hooah for Health (push-ups, sit-ups, and running). I hate doing it because there is no one else here and I have to do everything myself.

Hey, I’d do it with you if you lived anywhere near me because I could an exercise program like that with a little motivation from someone else.

That’s the thing about exercise for me – I find it easier if there is someone else willing to go along with me.

    Jon,

Someone else eh? I happen to know someone who lives pretty close to you that would always be willing…. I think you already have her contact info.

lol, well, if it didn’t involve so much running I wouldn’t have a problem

Oh, I see. Running is my method of choice, but I am definitely willing to take part in other forms of exercise. Most importantly… I just like to be doing something. Too much sitting around gives me time to think and worry too much.

Well, it’s a good thing that where we are moving to will have a fitness center of some sorts so I can do weights.

Yep, and it won’t be like pulling teeth to ask you to come with me.

I really don’t like most sports since I have a limp so it makes me pretty bad at it and hurts after too long, but I do like fencing. I do renaissance fencing (not olympic) and it’s tons of fun. Well, as long as you’re winning

[color=darkblue:26tvmd18]I can relate to that! We sometimes practice sword defenses against a shinai, which won’t kill ya but will sure make ya break out the pain relievers. [/color:26tvmd18]
