The way I see it not to many Catholic people in the U.S.A will goto heaven, cause I bet at least 75% of people has had or are using one of the three above.
What is your opinion on this?August 16, 2006 at 11:34 pm #6785AnonymousInactiveWhether they are culpable of any sin depends on what they knew when it happened.
And none of them preclude forgiveness in the sacrament of reconciliation.

August 23, 2006 at 2:04 pm #6800AnonymousInactiveAs a woman, married to a non catholic who refused to have a vasectomy and having 8 children, 5 by c section I decided to have my tubes removed. I neither did this easily or lightly. I did figure that the 8 kids I have needed there mother with them, not dead because of another pregnancy. It is a decision that ways heavily on me every day of my life, we dont all make these kind of choices easily. If I dont go to heaven at least I will have been the best mum that I could be .

[color=darkblue:445w7c1t]Wow, that certainly sounds like a difficult decision. Why would another pregnancy cause you death?[/color:445w7c1t]

God bless youAugust 29, 2006 at 5:27 pm #6831AnonymousInactiveContracepting is never an option. It seems so harmless, but it isn’t. NFP is viable, trusting that God will provide is obviously good, but otherwise, abstaining is the right path.
This doesn’t mean decisions are easy, but then, carrying the cross isn’t easy…
Humanae Vitae is a heck of an encyclical to read.
