During mass the priest says a prayer like “pray for the dead in hope of rising again” I was to understand that when one dies his soul goes to heaven,hell or purgatory,does it mean at the end of time your body will rise and met ones soul? cause isn’t your soul already in one of those locations.
From the Nicene Creed: “We look for the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come.”
