As it is summer I think my mind is on summer activities, vacations, and celebrations. I would like to forget about news, politics, and serious matters. But now would not be the time to let up on our prayers and pro-life activites. Particularly since a judge has seen fit to overturn President Bush’s ban on partial birth abortion.

Although it is not new information I think it bears repeating here. That is that satan’s biggest weapon is despair. As soon as we see situations as hopeless( like being thwarted in the pro-life movement), we forget about the front door and let evil walk right in. Also I read the other day that satan’s strongpoint is his patience in waiting out our efforts.

Perhaps we need to respect all life-including our own to let God work through us to save his creation.

Wow, I didn’t even hear about a judge overturning the partial birth abortion ban. That’s horrible. I can’t believe that happened.

What you say about the devil makes sense too. Despair is the opposite of hope and hope is what Jesus gives. That is why, even though I am jobless right now and about to be married in 2 months, I am sure something will turn out all right because I know God always provides for me and I trust that he will this time too.

It is important for us to not give up in the fight against abortion. Do not lose hope! <img decoding=” title=”Very Happy” />
