My oldest 2 grandchildren attend a Catholic grade school.  Their parents were baptised but have not practised for years.  I attend mass every Thursday and as often as I can on Sundays when I’m not working.  The oldest will be entering 2nd grade and she and her parents would like her to be able to participate in Holy Communion ceremonies.  In fact, both of their parents have come to recognize the importance of religious education and plan to keep their children at their current school and attend the Catholic high school also.

Can my 4 grandchildren be baptized now?  They are 8, 6, and twins aged 1 yr.  Will their parents have to attend religious education classes?  My son is a single parent and works 60 hrs. a week and my daughter works full time and has 1 yr. old twins in addition to the 6 yr old.  They have both expressed doubts whether they woud be able to schedule anything else into their busy lives.  They do intend to fully support their children’s Catholic instruction.
