I’m with you there, man. Actually I went to high school with Drew Brees; he lived down the street and led us to the 5A (big school) state championship.
Okay, I was just a freshman that year and never actually met him, but it’s a good story…
I happened to go to the Homecoming game a week or two ago where it was the 10 year anniversary of the state championship team, and (I was surprised) he showed up! He had the Steelers two days later but he made time to come back to the home crowd.
[color=green:2vsgjwx3]I lived in San Diego for 5 years when I was in the Navy. I remember seeing him on the local news a lot. He’s just a class act, plain and simple. That’s pretty cool that you were in high school with Drew Brees. I know Drew does live in New Orleans and likes to be a positive role model in the community. [/color:2vsgjwx3]
