Have a holy Lent everyone, may we all grow in our love of God through this holy Season.
Thanks! I’m giving up sweets for the first time ever. I’ve always thought of it as a cop out, but it’s a serious issue for me this year. There seems to be an endless supply of desserts at work and I need to better discipline myself to stop eating them! So Lent seems like a great opportunity to do that!
And to you as well! just curious…what are your favorite Lenten hymns?
Mine would be the Stabat Mater.

Being a very popular Sequence, (sung between the Epistle and Gospel on Palm Sunday, and between each station at the Stations of the Cross) there are many composers who have composed music for the lyrics. But here is an older Gregorian rendition.
