<img decoding=” title=”Confused” /> I understand Joesph was old (at least 40)when he married Mary,I wonder why a older man would marry a 15 year child? Also I assumed they were married before Jesus was conceived,if so why wasn’t there sexual relations between them?If it was through the intervention of God why did he premit the marriage in the first place.

[quote:2cjkbvdu]The Church’s official stance is that Mary remained a virgin even after the birth of Jesus. Sometimes you might hear of Mary’s perpetual virginity in a discussion.

I agree that it must have been rather strange.[/quote:2cjkbvdu]

[color=blue:2cjkbvdu]Also would it not in it self to be married and not to reproduce a sin? I know it is now unless it’s physically impossible to do so. I wonder how old Joesph was when he married Mary. [/color:2cjkbvdu]
