The Bible mentions things like “the brothers of Jesus[/url:1yhpj5tg]” leading some people to say that Mary must have had intercourse with Joseph. However, where it says “brothers” may not actually mean it in the literal familial sense, but in a metaphoric sense such as the statement that we are all brothers and sisters in Christ. Does that mean you are my sister by blood or family relations? No, it does not, but it is that we share something in common.
