http://www.tldm.org/news3/impostor.htmJune 28, 2010 at 2:47 am #9954AnonymousInactiveVeronica Leuken and the Bayside “visions” were among a number of groups that popped up around the same time with strange ideas that contradicted not just Catholic teachings, but the alleged messages contradicted each other. I’m among a majority of people who find the allegations that Pope Paul VI was imprisioned in the Vatican and replaced by an actor. The Photographic “evidence” they use like compairing the ears of different photos, are non-scientific. One’s ears and nose grows and changes both size to an extent shape as we age, when taken from a different angle, can look different.
Another problem is that Veronica early on said that our Lady told her the New Mass was a sacralige, but in obedience to our bishops we had to attend it. She at other times told her followers that Mary told her to tell people to be obedient to their bishops, but refused to stop pulbishing her “visions” when after an investigation by her bishop she was told to stop claiming that her “visions” were of Mary, or Supernatural in nature.
It contradicts logic that Mary would tell Veronica that people had to go to something that was sacraligious, out of obedience. Every Catholic knows that we must be obedient to legitimate laws, but if a bishop or even the Pope were to ask or tell us to do something sinful, we must refuse obedience to an unlawful order.

They are both the same man. Pope Paul VI. the Photos on the left were taken shortly after his election, the photos on the right were taken near the end of his life. Look at photos of your parents or grand parents when they were young, and when they were aged, you will see changes in those photos too. The photos are real, the Pope (same man in both pictures) is real, and the story that there was a fake is the only thing fake about this whole issue dreamed up by Veronica to try and explain why the Church was not doing the things that she wanted. If you look at photos of presidents of the USA, most of all those who served two terms, and put the first photos taken of them on the left hand side, and the pictures as they were leaving office on the right hand side, you will see what a high stress job, with great responsibility does to change one’s apperance. Image if they had the same job for 15 or 20 years.
June 28, 2010 at 6:06 am #9959AnonymousInactivethank you sir LARobert! i used to worry about those cardinals who, according to the “blessed mother” (of veronica) kidnapped pope paul and replaced him with a phony…
but now that i mentioned these cardinals, do you know anything about them?
if they didnt fake pope paul 6 then, do you have an idea why, of all the many cardinals in rome, were they the ones who were falsely accused?June 28, 2010 at 6:39 am #9962AnonymousInactive"passionately_catholic":3m7g9krt wrote:thank you sir LARobert! i used to worry about those cardinals who, according to the “blessed mother” (of veronica) kidnapped pope paul and replaced him with a phony…but now that i mentioned these cardinals, do you know anything about them?

After Vatican II there were many people who were upset with the Changes that occured. Some thought the Council had not gone far enough, others retreated into what they thought the Church was in the 1950’s or earlier. Seers, and conspiracy theories filled a need for these people, who wanted an explanation of why things were not as these people thought that they should be. False accusations with little or no proof sprung up by the dozens. Each group latched on to these theories, because is would mean that they and their position was the correct one.June 29, 2010 at 4:13 am #9972AnonymousInactiveWhy is this conversation relevent?

It may not be relevant to you, but to people who really want to know about the Catholic Church, with all that is circulated as authentically Catholic, it can sometimes be confusing. Many people claim to represent themselves as either “Exposing” the errors of the Catholic Church, or being the only ones who hold the authentic Catholic Faith.Until one learns (something that I am learning more about each day) what the Catholic Church authentically teaches. Some websites and publications like our friend passionately_catholic was asking about, which present themselves as Catholic, but in fact are not mislead people. I’ve seen the “Bayside” visions quoted on Anti-Catholic websites as if they were authentic Catholic sources. Exposing false visionaries, or those condemned by the Church as not of Supernatural Origins, even when they claim to be is just as important as exposing the false allegations of Boettener, Hislop, Chick and other professional Anti-Catholics.
