Ok, so the conclave starts next week to elect a new pope. How quickly do you think one will be elected?

I think that it will take three to four days. It’s just my guess since there are so many good candidates. <img decoding=” title=”Smile” />

Yeah, I’m hoping it is within the first few days.

I refuse to speculate on who the next pope will be because i feel that is in God’s hands. I can only pray for the cardinals.

I have speculated, but I will be happy with just about anyone. I have a list of who I don’t want to see as pope, but it’s not up to me. I will except who ever the Holy Spirit chooses.

I also think this election will go by quick. Whoever it is, he will be in good hands.

So far, nothing but black smoke. CNN.com is reporting that there are 4 votes scheduled for tomorrow.

In heard that in the last 100 or so years no conclave has gone passed a week. Anyone else hear this in the news?

No, but it sounds good to me. I truly have no idea how long they take. Initially I thought they take a month or so, but other people have told me they are usually shorter.
