I have been a Catholic my whole life. The latest devastion in my life, (loosing my job), has brought me to wanting to learn about my faith and getting closer to God. I’m admitting that it has taken a devastation in my life to draw me closer to God which I should of done a long time ago. Anyhow, my delima is, since I lost my job 3 years ago, I have associated myself with Christian friends who were for the most part, Catholics at one point. They have shared scripture with me and have started a whole series of questions about my Catholic teachings that has me wondering if I am learning misinterpeted teachings. I hoping that by signing on to this Blog, I can ask my questions and get some answers in a compassion and loving way without attacking anyone beliefs etc.
