I’ve always wondered about the difference between annulments and divorces myself. Of course, the Catholic Church says that annulments are not the same as divorses. I too am not quite sure if one who has recieved an annulment cannot recieve communion or get remarried. From my understanding, an annulment nullifies a marrige and the participants can still remarry and recieve the sacrements. However, I’m not sure what happens to one who has recieved a divorce.
