No not conservative Protestant. Some of the Liberal Protestant sects, like the Unitarians may not find it offensive, but I’m saying that those who have no understanding of authentic history, like the Ultra Sola crowd who shun anything that is not in the bible, (except of microwaves, cars, jets and computers) will find it more disturbing because they have no frame of reference when the non-chrisitan film maker brings up “facts” like the Ossuary of James, which was debunked by scientists a few years back, and “Ancient Writings” like the gnostic gospels and histories written by heretical sects in the fourth through eighth centuries.
Well read Catholics should be able to spot the historians and histories cited as being long dead heretical views that have been revived by Dan Brown of the Da Vinci code, and his ilk.
