GKC (one of my heroes and the guy that got me interested in RCC) has a lot to say about this very thing. It wouldn’t work, but you should look up some of his works on economics — some are on-line. Google “G. K. Chesterton” and poke around.

I think it stinks. It also means that employees have little loyalty to their companies, and we all suffer when that happens. I’m a radical when it comes to that — never give notice! Swipe pencils! Leave the end of the toilet paper in the toilet bowl so you waste additional paper when you flush!
