I was just having a group discussion today with some friends, and we were talking about the DaVinci Code, which is affiliated with another secret society. It all sounds kind of fishy to me, because like you said, the secret societies and codes are basically not being open to others in the community (keeping almost entirely to themselves) and that is not what Christianity is about.
