I feel so stuck in one place.  Help!  I was born and raised Catholic.  I did not get confirmed due to moving my junior year in high school and not finding a church in time to get my confirmation done.  As a young adult out of high school I wandered from the church.  I met the man I ended up marrying, who happens to be a non-practicing Methodist, who was also previously married.  We were married in the Methodist church.  We have been together 16 years and there is nothing more than I want than to get confirmed and allow my faith grow, in the Catholic church.  My husband is not interested in the Catholic church at all.  I have asked him before about getting his previous marriage annulled so I am able to continue my journey of faith and he is very against that.  He does not feel that he should bring up personal stuff from his past for something he does not believe in.  He does not want to state his first marriage was “nothing” because it was and just failed.  I do not know where to go from here.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
