At lunch at work on Wednesday we were talking about the Terri Schiavo thing and how it was just announced that the pope needed a feeding tube to bring nutrients and food.
Then Terri Schiavo died and the popes health turns for the worse. Anyone else seeing a connection or is this pure coincidence?
I personally don’t see that much difference between someone who was lucid to the time of his death and someone missing a cerebral cortex. Although Terri Schiavo’s death does bring up a really big debate about what life is and how long it should be sustained (and what death is), the only real similarity between her and our late Holy Father is that they were both in bad health and on a feeding tube.

Didn’t they both die around 3pm as well?
Ah ok, heard it from a church member. Was probably just a rumor.
