    Anybody read Sophies World by Jostein Gaarder? I just bought it last night and loved it! its a novel about the history of philosophy

    I’ve not read it, or even heard of it. Does the book mention that Sophie, is derived from the Greek word, Sophia, meaning wisdom?

    I am not sure, im not too deep into the book yet. but its very fascinating for anyone interested in philosophy and in some parts even religion
