This question is for the Catholics on this site (of course non-Catholic could just post their questions here too).

What do Catholics feel about Homosexuality?
Why do Catholics think birth control is wrong? Why abstinence?If someone is a protestant (or other non-Catholic religion), do you believe they will not go to heaven?
Why do you continue to support the Catholic Church when it has so many child molesters and goes to such great lengths to protect them?

Why do you think you need to do good deeds or works to get into heaven?
Why do you say the rosary?
What is the rosary?

These are just some of the many questions I’ve been asked through the years

As if we’re too stupid to know the difference between a statue,picture,or other icon and the almight creator of the universe.(DUH!) Ignoring the pagan inspired wedding ring on his finger and the whole early history of Christianity.. :rolleyes:“Why did the Catholic Church add 7 books to the Bibe when it says not to?”
Knowing nothing of where the Bible came from and that the 66 book Bible in his hands had those 7 books REMOVED by Luther and his Prot “reformers” even though every council all the back to the early church had all of them.
THEN…I wanna know why his KJV ADDS the doxology “For thine is the Kingdom…” to the Our Father when it’s not in the original and is in fact from the Didache, a non-canonical early church writing.Pax vobiscum,[/color:196wbre5]
Doesn’t the Bible condemn the use of tradition as a source of authority?

How could Catholics say that Mary remained a virgin, there is plenty of evidence in the Bible that says otherwise?

The last big question was…
Aren’t all those monks, or whatever they are, totally rich? I mean, look at the Vatican, they have all that priceless artwork. Plus, that was the reason that Luther broke away, right?

The catholic church is rich and has A LOT of power around the world right? So, why does continue to ask for money from very poor people who are struggling to get the little amount of money they can gaver to give to the church? Why doesn’t the church us it’s power and step in to help those people?
The Church is in debt, that’s why, lol
As for the contraception question: The Bible definitely implicitly insinuates that it is wrong, but also, we do not need to rely totally on the Bible for every question regarding Fath and Morals, because we are not leaderless and we have the Vicar of Christ on earth, the Pope, as well as the magisterium, to tell us these things.
So, that leads us into my next question:
Why on earth do you believe some human being is infallible?

Do any of you bother looking up for the Biblical answers to these questions or do you just assume that your “Catholic Answers” are correct?

What’s the point of this question?
The point of the thread in general most likely concerns directing Jon towards which topics he should address in the site articles. When one knows what people are asking “about Catholics”, then he knows what to tell them.
The point of Ron’s question is sour grapes.
The point of the question is that there are so many times in which
your “Catholic Answers” are not Biblical at all, just Catholic that “claim ” to be Biblical. You guys are so programed into thinking that Catholicism was founded by Christ that your Magesterium can tell you anything
and you’d believe them to be infallible, especially when they tell you that you can’t understand Scriptures. Its a shame to see the many deceptions

Well that is clear enough said, but your problems remain: 1 – I’m simply answering a question that was asked, not attempting to hi-jack anything.
2 – there is nothing false about what I said in responding the way I did
3 – You don’t care for me to start another thread, so why bother?
Amongst many, here are some questions people usually ask:

2. How can you be sure that Jesus was not just another man? Who says it wasn’t the Church that made him divine?
3. How can you be religious in our times? Religion is a thing of the past, for foolish people.
4. The Church is all about backwardness and she’s an enemy of progress and ideas. How can you even consider what they say as true?
5. The Vatican is rich and corrupt and the Pope is a monarch living in the past. Why do you worship this mafia-boy?[/i:27os9ozj]
Well, there are many more of this «pearls» that I could share with you that clearly show the social and cultural prejudice and ignorance against the Church in our times, even in traditional catholic countries like mine.
