Have you ever had a personal AH HA moment in your faith? Have you ever had one in prayer or just living out your regular life? Let’s hear about it!

ok…no responses. No one is into sharing their faith I see!

Well, I don’t have any particular moments to share really, but sometimes when I am trying to discern something (major life decision, etc.) I find that in talking with people God reveals to me what he wants me to do.

I think I do, but I have a bad habit of ignoring it. Always in fear that is my own wants and not necessarily what God wants. That makes sense?

Yeah, I hear you. Even with my most recent endeavor, moving to Boston, there have been times where I have questioned it, I push on.

Sometimes you have to learn through trial and error. Your life doesn’t have to be lived in fear that you are going to make the wrong choice and waste time on something else because God is always revealing himself to you through your life experience.

As long as you give it an adequate amount of discernment (and it’s not heretical) I think you should feel pretty safe that you are acting in accord with God’s will.

One of mine is the dream I have already shared with you. Another on was today when I was listening to Catholic Radio 1370AM and a priest was talking about the devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. He touched on a few points and it gave me some real motivation to start this devotion. You make a good point about trial and error Jon. God has shaped me through this. I have been through a lot of downfalls in my life and I’m only 26, but I have learned from them and have progressed more in my spiritual life because of them. One of the big ones that I have learned is that no matter what state in life you are in, even if you think you are the worst sinner in the world, you can still be saved through Christ if only you let him. Another thing that I have learned in my spiritual life, that was through trial and error, is to do the will of God in every moment of life. I fail more than I succeed but at least I keep trying and that’s the main thing.
