My name is Cathy and I am a youth ministry director in Michigan’s thumb. (a reference to our lower penninsula’s mitten shape if you don’t know your geography.) I am new to full time ministry and to this rural part of the state but not new to the faith that I love so dearly. I have worked in ministry before, but as I said, this is the first full time endeavor for me.

I am married to a wonderful man who was baptized in the faith (and as a Christian for the first time) three years ago. We have been married for just over a year. Our only “baby” right now is his 14-year-old brother who is living with us on a questionably permenant basis. We are open to life and pray that God’s will will be our true desire, but waiting can be tough.

I was interested in finding an online Catholic forum after experiencing an online STEP course through the U of Notre Dame. I really enjoy getting to know Catholics all over the country/world and sharing about what is going on in our Church. I haven’t done much exploring on this site yet, but I would also be interested in Catholic chats.
