Hello! I was born Catholic, raised Catholic, attended Catholic schools (including high school) but like many Catholics had no real idea about my faith and what a gift it is. After falling away from practice during my college years, it wasn’t until I had a severe financial crisis (married with 6 children) that led me to a very powerful reversion experience. I had an amazing encounter with God’s Word (Holy Scripture). It changed my life. It was at that time I began to ravenously read and study Scripture. My goal, at the time, was to learn everything about money and financial stewardship contained in the Bible, so that I could learn what I had done wrong financially. That was slightly over 18 years ago. I routinely read and study Scripture 3-4 hours a day, and have, for the last 18 years. I am a published author of a bestseller (Faith Finances). I now travel the country, teaching and lecturing, on the subject of personal finances (almost exclusively for Catholics). It has since branched into apologetics. I love my Catholic faith, and will defend it like a lion. I challenge all Catholics to better understand what IS their faith, why it is that way, how it is based in the truth of Holy Scripture, and to consciously and purposefully pass it on to their children. I don’t ask why? I know why!!!
I am always interested in great discussions about Catholocism. What better a place to have these discussions (in such a forum) as this!
