    Well a little about me.

I’m 56 years old and have been married to Catherine for 35 years this coming June 12th. Catherine has been a Catholic since birth, I on the other hand converted after we were married two years, I was Baptized and made first Communion, very shortly after that I stopped participating in the Mass if I went at all.

Suddenly three years ago Catherine asked if I would like to accompany her to a Lenten Mission at our Church, well I figured it wouldn’t hurt, it was a five day mission and the more I went the more I realized what had been missing out of my life, Jesus’ Love, oh it was there but I chose not to accept it. As Father John Corapi says “sometimes God has to hit you between the eyes with a 2 X 4 to get your attention”, well I felt like that. I went for Reconciliation for the first time in 30+ years, shortly after that I went to out Pastor and asked if I could take classes in order to be Confirmed, I was Confirmed May 14, 2005(Pentecost weekend).

    God Bless,

    Michael
