Whew, It’s tough to give an intro at a RCC site  I’m a 50 year old wife of an anabaptist minister. But, I’ve been studying different Christian faiths for years and have developed a great interest in the RCC and Orthodox history. I’m also one that believes that most of the things that divided the RCC and the reformers are now satisfied, with the exception of believer’s baptism, maybe. I’ve often thought if I were “on my own” I would explore both personally. But, recently I have been helping out a friend of a friend and home educating a child who was expelled from public school. Because only certain types of curriculum are acceptable to the county for those students who expect to re-enter the system and I was rabid about a Christian curriculum I chose an approved Catholic one. I have learned so much of the Catholic world view from that curriculum! Unfortunately most of my prior “knowledge” has been caught on the fly, as informational books are usually quite pricey when they have limited exposure. I’d love to be able to take some classes on the RCC worldview, but that’s not likely. Anyway, I’m here just to ask a few questions, read a few things and try to educate myself more fully. I hope I’ll be welcome <img decoding=” title=”Cool” /> even though I’m incognito and have to stay that way. Blessings of peace….
