This is going to be pretty quick (I will add more later) but I have noticed one thing about Iraq and that it has a lot of statues of Sadaam Hussein. Does anyone else notice that? I would think that the people of Iraq would notice something terribly wrong with that. Or maybe they would not because they have been under his rule for so long. I think that if someone names pretty much everything in the city after himself and has several things dedicated to him that there is a serious problem.

    What do you think?

    I agree.
However, what I think is even more troubling than saddam’s obvious narcissism is his sickening brutality. More troubling still, is the fact that so many don’t care.

Is there something in us that should recoil at hearing stories of women raped or set on fire, men put into shreaders or having their skin raked off by huge grinders?

Shouldn’t the stories, from Saddam’s ex mistress, of how it was hard to sleep hearing the screams of children being savagly murdered interupt or sleep just a little??

…or does the justification of this war hinge on whether or not Saddam did in fact try to purchase yellow cake from Niger??

    Where’s the humanity?
