I’m not sure how this applies to angels… but I usually answer the question about free will in heaven like this:

Imagine you are standing in an open space.

Before you are two things… a swimming pool and your family- holding a billion dollars. (or pick anything that you would desire most in this world)

You get to choose which one you want to go to first… you have the free will to choose.

…. but before you choose, I cover you in gasoline and set a lit match to ya.

Pretty easy choice, right? You will jump into the pool to extinguish the flames.

Seeing God face to face… the love of our Creator and Father… is just as intense (but in a good way!) as being lit on fire with gasoline.

We still have free will… but a person would have to be insane to make any other choice.
