I know it is just a technicality, but the English word for love can often be quite vague. I guess this is one instance in which biblical translations can make a difference, but I much prefer the “charity” of the Douay-Rheims to “love”, which seems to compliment the vulgate’s [i:1h4fnz8b]caritas[/i:1h4fnz8b]. The essential meaning is the same though.
