I don’t know. I hope some fundamentalists will answer. Maybe they like the way it starts: “In the beginning there was the Word.” But the Word here is clearly Jesus as it is in other parts of the Bible (forget which ones off hand). Maybe they think the Word of God is the Bible. :rolleyes:
