Regarding movies and television
I have a real problem, that is in relating to others about media. It is especially difficult as a mother, and even more so as a CCD teacher. The students all come from ‘good families’, but they have not got a single clue that anything is wrong with them filling their minds night after night with the current popular shows.
Back when Titanic came out many many parents took their grade school children, because after all it is a famous movie about a famous ship
it made no difference that the scenes were totally inappropriate for their grade school children
I am talking early grade school and pre-school.
I feel so lost sometimes regarding this—-like are there not any parents who care about this anymore????
